Profile Introduction: Our client, an innovative $30 billion global diversified technology company with operations in more than 60 countries that distributes Industrial adhesives, Commercial Solutions, Automotive, Abrasives seeks to recruit a Sales Officer- Homecare Products.
Overall Purpose of the role is to: To achieve maximum sales growth, product penetration and profitability within an assigned market segment by effectively marketing our client’s products.
Minimum Requirements
- A degree in Sales and Marketing or MBA in related field;
- Must have 4 years of work experience in FMCG Sales ;
- Be able to work and lead Distributor Management/ Sales Team.
- Exceptional Relationship Management.
- Multilingual English is a must.
Job Specification
- Promote, sell and secure orders from existing and prospective client portfolio by building long term relationships.
- Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned market segment and products to generate new business.
- Research sources and information for prospective customer development and determine their market potential.
- Deal with and resolve customer problems and complaints.
- Coordinate sales activities with marketing, supply chain and finance functions.
- Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting their profile, share and opportunities.
- Keep abreast of product knowledge, market conditions, competition activities and trends
Competencies
- Good understanding of retail/supermarket trade margins, marketing initiatives, programs and trade discounts;
- Result-oriented and able to work independently;
- Team player;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Medical clearance is required;
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- If one has worked previously with the listed companies they have an upper hand: Nivea, Loreal, Cadbury, Colgate & Palmolive, Coca Cola, Johnson &Johnson, Nestle, Unilever, General Mills, Mandelez, Henkel, Kellogg’s, Rickitt Benckiser and Sc Johnson.
