Sales Manager

Our client, a leading provider of easy-to-use wireless solutions designed for the protection and management of people, mobile and fixed assets, vehicles and containers is seeking to recruit a Sales Manager to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services.
The ideal candidate must have related experience or training in Tracking, Security, Fleet management or Service sector.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Determines annual unit and gross profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.
- Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and
- territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
- Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
- Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand,changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
- Completes national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Maintains national sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintains national sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring,and appraising job results.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing
- professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Knowledge and Skills:
- A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred;
- Minimum of seven years of related experience or training in Tracking, Security, Fleet management or Service sector; or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
- Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.
- Possess strong time management skills
- Be commercially aware and have excellent presentation, sales & negotiation skills.
- Should be confident, self-motivated, self-disciplined and driven to succeed
- Possess a high degree of flexibility
- A valid driver’s license
