Summary: We have an exciting opportunity for a sales and marketing professional with a proven track record to lead and grow the business in the ICT industry.
You will devise sales and marketing strategies, drive their implementation, motivate the sales team and achieve the agreed company targets.
Job Purpose: The ideal candidate will be financially and commercially astute with an entrepreneurial approach to finding and developing new business.
As natural leader and influential communicator, you will have excellent sales skills and a proven track record of producing and delivering profitable growth strategies.
As a Sales and Marketing Director, you will be responsible for the overall management of the sales, marketing and product development teams and initiatives across the region to ensure the following KPI’s:
- Year to date sales and churn are not only met, but exceeded
- Specific KPI’s for sub teams are met and exceeded
- Build the skills set of the Cloud and IT solution sales team and ensure meaningful sales growth is achieved
- New product development
This role requires a strong understanding of the market, the trends and developments and changes taking place in the market relating to existing and potential clients as well as competitor strategies.
You will be required to utilize this knowledge to help formulate the company sales and product approach.
You should be knowledgeable about the science of selling and understand the metrics of a sales pipeline and its drivers while monitoring and overseeing these key drivers.
Skills and Qualifications:
- You must have a minimum of 10 years working experience in Sales, with 3 of the 10 years spent in a Senior Management role – and 5 years in the ICT industry.
- Core experience in solution selling and sales of cloud and IT solutions is required. It’s a big plus for you, if you have some international exposure within the sales arena.
- Excellent communication skills is essential, as well as interpersonal and negotiation skills.
