Job Advert: In-House Designer
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the marketing team with designing or creating graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, or logos specifically:
- Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
- Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type.
- Confer with internal team to discuss and determine layout design.
- Develop content, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and Internet websites.
- Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.
- Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with internal team and making necessary changes.
- Use computer software to generate new images.
- Key information into computer equipment to create layouts for the company
- Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products.
- Mark up, paste, and assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer.
- Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using computer.
- Study illustrations and photographs to plan presentation of materials, products, or services.
- Research new software or design concepts.
- Photograph layouts, using camera, to make layout prints for internal team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate with Information Technology as a major.
- Minimum 3 years experience in graphic and multimedia design
- Languages: Proficient in English.
- Having sufficient knowledge in operations of the following (but not limited to) software; Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In-design, Corel draw, Adobe Dreamweaver and HTML.
- Any combination of experience and / or education to perform the job allotted
