Job Title: Inventory Control Officer

Reports To: Assistant parts Manager
 

Industry: Automotive

Location: Nairobi

Salary: Kshs 55,000 – 60,000

Our client is a motorcycle manufacturing company based in Nairobi. 

They seek to hire a proactive inventory control officer to manage parts data, sales, ordering and back order control, inventory management, and giving of monthly report to Assistant parts manager.Job Responsibilities

• Inventory administration.


• Preparation of monthly KPI reports 


• Handling all parts orders.


• Prepare initial orders for new models


• Check on back order resolution time


• Maintain stocked parts inventory including stock locations and stock profiles


• Handle and control inventory stock counting and accuracy checks


• Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete stocks


• Implement control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved.


• Performance Standards


• Controlling the movement of stocks and ensuring that the stocks system is up-to-date.


• Ensure minimum or no overstocking and under stocking


• Collaborate with parts sales officers to ensure that dealers have adequate stocks


• Timely reports to management and the assistant parts manager

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of a diploma in stock control and inventory(Purchasing & Supplies)


• 2 years’ experience working in a similar position.


• Experience in  the automotive Industry will be an added advantage


• Age; 25  years and above


• Computer literacy is a MUST


• Good communication skills


• High integrity


• Should have good Supervisory and Organizational skills.
