Our client, a leading global travel retailer operating worldwide seeks to recruit a Country IT Manager.
The ideal candidate will be in charge of Planning, coordinating and managing the direct operational IT environment to ensure efficient service to users, provide stability and development of capability for the company.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Supporting business users and management regarding applications and company operations and processes
- Maintaining IT inventory, contracts, and licenses
- Coordination with Region IT and supervising country’s IT department employees.
- Systems management of the local IT environment, including Point of Sale and servers when applicable
- Suggestions to improve the internal operation and performance, according to the needs of all departments
- Processing orders for hardware, client software and identifying needs for developments
- Coordinating and supporting the systems implementation, testing and approval
- Ensuring daily operating activities such as backup, restore, and fault analysis
- Ensuring implementation of IT plans meets the standard global policies and procedures for the IT Community
- Developing, managing, communicating and controlling IT budget within context of IT strategy and business plans
- Managing suppliers, contracts, agreements and organizing support service incidents
- Providing local user support regarding business applications and monitoring of the LAN and WAN
- Interface role between users and Regional IT Team regarding change request, incident request and management of all open issues
Qualifications and Competences
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
- A minimum of 7 years experience in the related field.
- Expertise in system administration
- Fluent in English and additional languages applicable for the country.
