Location: NairobiBusara is recruiting for the above positions for research on a mobile peer to peer lending platform that seeks to enable financing at the base of the Kenyan pyramid by the Kenyan base of the pyramid, the platform will act as a market place for Kenyans (or groups of Kenyans) to lend and borrow from each other.
Busara seeks to recruit Marketers to help market the product in the following respective recruitment areas: Leading Nairobi malls, Kawangware, Kibera and Mathare.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for direct marketing of the platform within an assigned territory
- Responsible for attaining the target which will be communicated from time to time by the project lead.
- Direct the lenders and borrowers to the registration desk.
- Gather and report customer intelligence to the project lead.
- Give actionable feedback, share best practices and serve as advocate and information source for the company.
- Devise marketing campaigns with the goal of increasing product awareness and increasing onboarding.
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of prospective lenders and borrowers
- Perform any other duty as and when assigned to him/her.
Key Requirements:Required
- Bachelor’s Degree ( Business-related but preferably marketing option)
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing or related field
- Must have at least 2 years’ experience in the sales and marketing industry either in sales or Customer Service and documentation or related activities.
- Be computer Literate
- Must be vibrant and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work Duration: Successful applicants will be hired for 3-4 weeks on a casual basis.
