This role will be responsible for establishing and developing a business plan for export, which will establish and create sustainable growth in chosen markets for all PFIL products.
Analyze and monitor the current markets and prepare a business plan (within 3 months) to identify and develop new sales opportunities for the export of domestic and commercial productsDevelop and drive export sales activity by considering the sales offer and evaluating potential in international marketsDevelops annual sales plan in support of organizational strategies and objectivesDirects the sales, service and distribution of products; prepares documentation, quotations, and pro forma invoicesMaintains and constantly improves the organization’s international competitive advantagePlans, directs and coordinates development of sales objectives, strategies, advertising and promotional programs and ensures their executionEnsure adherence to country specific importation legislationImplement sales and distribution plans to meet customer requirementsExecute marketing efforts and reaching regular sales targets by carrying out market research activity in chosen export marketsAchieves pre-defined sales targets and focus on increasing international salesDevelops stronger commitments from current customersWorking with Marketing to develop appropriate marketing materials for an international audienceProviding market intelligence and competitor activity reports to the Marketing ManagerCross-cultural awarenessOther duties as assigned by managementNet Sales & Profit- Achieve sales targets within set gross marginVolume Sales- Achieve sales volume target by category and SKUs as per annual operating planMarket share- Achieve market share targetsSales costs- Costs management within budget for salesBrand visibility- At POS key consumer touch pointsReporting- Report to management – weekly, monthly, quarterly on sales performanceBachelor Degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or related field required; Masters Degree preferredMinimum of 2 years of relevant sales experience, including a track record of international sales success, to include setting up international markets (FMCG)Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a international distribution network and create sales plansUnderstand complexity of supply chain activities and the most appropriate distribution channels in key export markets Excellent communication skills to interact successfully within your network Entrepreneurial, self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage and achieve sales independently and proactively in a fast-paced work environment.
