1. Job Title: Audit Supervisor

Overall Responsibility:
The position is responsible for carrying out audits with a view to ensuring compliance with technical, operational, regulatory and corporate governance through adherence to KOIL procedures.
Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
Review audit assignments including proper planning, audit testing, schedule and developing audit program, working papers or documentation, disclosure of audit finding and audit report drafting in close liaison with the audit and compliance manager.Participate in the preparation of the strategic and risk based audit plan aligned to the company objectives.Carry out routine audits and adhoc audits, compile quality and timely detailed findings, implications and make necessary recommendations to management for system and controls improvements.Carry out special investigations and make recommendations as necessary.Assist in identifying and investigating possible risk areas and reporting to management.Assist in systems review with a view to advising on areas that need to be strengthened.Assist in the review of internal procedures within the company processes.Assist with preparation of reports to management and the board audit committee.Carrying out reviews and supervision on staff performance in the Department.Prepare training materials and assist in training of staff on Audit and compliance issues.Assist in the follow-up of on status of implementation of both internal and external auditors’ recommendations.Performing any other duties as required from time to time.Requirements

Overall Responsibility:
The position is responsible for opening new claims and processing of non-legal Claims in line with the company policy
Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
Open and acknowledge new claimsAppoint service providers within the set benchmarks, review their reports and process claims as necessary.Initiate recovery from negligent third parties and promptly hand file to Legal Section for follow ups.Ensure payment to policyholders and service providers within stipulated company benchmarks.Maintain registers and adequate claims reserves.Respond to correspondence and/or queries relating to claims falling under area of responsibility.Make recommendations on settlements of claims falling under area of responsibility.Prepare claims reports e.g. monthly theft report, monthly salvage report and any other reports which may be required from time to time.Deputize the Senior Claims ExecutivePerform any other duties as required from time to time.Requirements

Kenya Orient offers a Graduate Apprentice Program to groom fresh talent of different academic disciplines into future leaders.
The Graduate Apprentice Program lasts for eighteen months during which trainees work as full time employees and receive extensive training, whilst they perform their role and in real work situations.
To join the Graduate Apprentice Program, applicants are expected to have met the following minimum requirements:

Overall Responsibility:
To execute the branch level finance function as directed by head office to support revenue assurance and credit control.
Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the summative and formative internal verification of assessment reports.
Re-inspect motor vehicles and assess small damages
Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
Scrutinize all the assessment reports submitted by the assessors and recommending the next course of action.Ensure that all assessors conduct themselves professionally and ethically and make recommendations where action is warranted.Re-inspect all motor vehicles within Nairobi after repairs are concluded by the garages.Recommend for a second assessment on accident vehicles outside Nairobi whenever necessary.Assess and authorize small damages (up to Kshs. 100,000) without involving external assessors.Prepare analysis assessment reports for damages below Kshs.200, 000 and authorize repairs without a second opinion unless where necessary.Carry out a second assessment on all vehicles whose estimated damage is more than Kshs.200, 000 and authorize their repairs immediately after making the necessary adjustments.Appoint an assessor for all cases estimated above Kshs.500, 000 assessed for a second opinion before authorizing repairs.Isolate and carry out repairs audit for the specific cases identified at the time of scrutinizing the claim form and assessment reports.Determine the reserve amount and update as appropriate.Carry out random checks on garages and provide recommendationsPrepare monthly reports giving claims change indicators.Any other duties as may be allocated by the management.Requirements

Overall Responsibility:
The position in liaison with the Senior Legal Officer is responsible for controlling litigation cases with external lawyers and all legal cases and ensuring that timely out of court settlements and/or recoveries are achieved.
Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
