Period of internship: The internship starts beginning Oct 2014 and lasts 6 months.Ensure World Vision East Africa online presence is regularly updatedMonitoring WV EAR content across online platforms and social mediaEngaging in internal communications activities for broad exposure to the organisationDrafting stories and various correspondence Assisting with corporate communications, and development of programme briefs and profilesEvent organisation Supporting processes to improve efficiency of the EARO Communications teamUniversity studies (ongoing or finished), or journalism, media and communication educationStrong English writing skillsExcellent use of technology including software (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Professional)Graduate Intern preferredAssets:
Experience with online promotion, development and media interestMultimedia skills such as video editing, photo management and graphic designKnowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, Typo3, FileMaker is an advantage.Languages: Excellent oral and written English.
