Car & General (K) Ltd is inviting applications for Stocks Accountant with the following qualifications:Aged between 35 to 45 yearsGraduate who holds Bachelor of Commerce degree (Accounting option) with at least CPA Part 3.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a busy accounting environment preferably in stocks management.High degree of proficiency in computer applications for Accounting. Those with working knowledge of scala accounting system will have an added advantage.Must be able to work independently and meet strict deadlinesA person of integrityStrong interpersonal skills and ability to establish strong working relationship with colleagues.Responsibilities

The stock accountant will be in charge of proper recording and reconciliation of all stocks in Nairobi and co-ordinating information and records of stocks from Branches. He/She may be required to visit Branches from time to time to assist in stocks management.Posting of local purchase GRDsPosting of overseas purchase GRDsInvoicing stock to BranchesRaising LPOs to BranchesStock transfers within the stores (warehousesCoding stock documentsIssuing Credit Notes and cash sale returns for goods not received or goods returned upon confirmation and duly authorized by respective BLsStock reconciliation (GL vs Valuation)Monthly stock takeMonthly stock reconciliationAnnual stock takeAnnual Audit.If you meet the above requirements please write to the undersigned on or before 12th July, 2014 enclosing current cv, including Mobile contact and current email address to:
