Egis International is looking for a Road Safety Engineer for Technical Cooperation Programme for the Ethiopian RSDP (Road Sector Development Program)

Position:
Road Safety Engineer

Qualifications and skills
- Minimum - MSc Degree in Transport/ Highway Engineering or related topic, or equivalent professional experience of at least 10 years
- Knowledge and understanding of transport infrastructure and road user dynamics
- Fluency in English language, both written and oral

General professional experience
- At least 10 years of professional experience of which a substantial part should have been focused working on road safety management from infrastructure, road user and roadside community aspects

Specific professional experience
- Working experience as technical assistant in the road sector
- Strong experience in road safety and the subsequent remedial measures
- Experience in organizing and managing training programmes
- A least 5 years' experience with regard to work activities in developing countries
- Experience in trainings will be considered an asset
- Familiarity with SSA countries and especially Horn of Africa will be considered an asset
