Airfreight Operations Manager
Responsibilities:
Core responsibilities include (but not limited to):Define and execute the airfreight strategy.Responsible for the Profit & Loss of the airfreight business and volume targets.Responsible for operational flow on both import and export shipments and its documentation.Develop and maintain relationships with airlines and ground handlingManage airport team and ensure all organizational policies and procedures are effectively implemented and adhered toIdentify and develop strategic marketing plans and customer base.Desired Skills and Experience
Kenyan Nationals with well-developed leadership, people, and problem solving skills are encouraged to apply:-The incumbent will need to possess 3-5 years of experience in management and logistics within the airfreight community with particular knowledge and experience in Kenya.Must be reporting to senior management or handling airfreight business unit in the current role.You will need to be strong in communication skills and must have the ability to build a strong team and develop relationship with both airlines and key customers in East African market.You must have completed IATA training courses including Dangerous Goods Regulations courses and possess relevant certificates.Education :
