Supervised by: The CEO

The incumbent must have experience in similar capacity with an firm dealing with FMCG

A specialized & strong distribution house spanning its reach throughout the East African countries and also present in southern and Western India dealing in consumer goods

Salary: 250,000
 

Role Objective: Develop, establish and maintain marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives including effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the group.

Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for management and coordination of marketing, advertising, PR and promotional activities within the GroupResponsible for the conduct of market research to determine market requirements for existing and future clientsResponsible for analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor informationDevelop, coordinate and implement marketing plans and projects within the group for new and existing products in consultation with respective GM’sMonitor, review and report on all marketing activities and resultsEnsure delivery of marketing activities within agreed budget and positive ROI in all marketing activitiesResponsible for group social media accounts management with focus being on creating effective visibility, interaction and increase in salesStrategize on the different marketing research and management tools for lead generationAssist in formulation and execution of sales policiesResponsible for marketing division KPIsMust prepare the following reports;Monthly progress report    Quarterly development reportIndicators of Good Performance:Increased market shareSuccess in strategiesTarget achieved by sales teamMarketing or business related degree or equivalent professional qualification plus 3 to 5 years relevant experience within a commercial setting, 2 of which should be regional (several countries)Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies plus proven experience in customer and market researchExtensive consumer goods marketing experience. Exposure to food service industry a plusExperience in managing corporate social media accountsHave well established networks across the region plus experience in managing large marketing budgets Excellent written/verbal communication and formal presentation skills Excellent organization, planning, problem analysis and problem-solving skillsA good team player/leader, persuasive, adaptable, innovative, creative, cost/ROI conscious and excellent in executionWorking with International brands is a definite advantageOnly those who meet the minimum requirements stated need apply.
