Chosen Children of Promise (CCP) is a Christian-based non-governmental organization that helps people in poverty situations by empowering them with services and training that focus on their spiritual and physical needs. We are now starting a primary school in Kawangware slum.

Requirements:

A born again Christian  able to Evangelize & disciple both  children and adultsMust have  P1 certificate from a recognized institutionMust have done well in English and Math at KCSE levelTeaching experience needed in either city council or a private primary schoolAble to teach all  primary school subjects Should be able to handle extra-curricular activitiesMust be able to produce a record of previous academic performanceMust be familiar with Kenyan educational schemeAbility to interact with children, parents and colleagues, both verbally and in writingCommitted to teaching children so that they can improve academicallyMust be creative in teaching strategiesProficient in English and Kiswahili, both spoken and writtenTeachers with ability to teach computer classes will have an added advantageTeachers with leadership experience are particularly encouraged to applyInteract effectively and respectfully with others (core value – Value people). Good communication skills both verbal and written. Be reliable and dependable.Time management and time awareness skills.Be trainable, flexible and willing to learn.Be organized, including the maintaining of clear and accurate records.Good problem solving skills, able to assess a problem and make wise recommendations.Ability to reflect upon and evaluate own performance for improvement Be self-Motivated with a high work ethic.
