The Real Estate Manager will be responsible for managing real estate transactions which include site selection, due diligence, purchase and sale of real estate, feasibility and viability studies and stakeholder communication. Also He / She shall:
Conduct strategic planning and tactical execution of real estate projects with focus on optimalityOversee all acquisitions, disposals, lease extensions & terminations and property management activitiesManage agents / professional actors’ relationships to ensure the highest quality of service deliveryEnsure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedure, all Environmental Health & Safety and Policies requirements as relates to property transaction and management processesCollate real estate market intelligence, trends and forecasts for use in planningMonitor and ensure legal compliance and due diligence on real estate deals working with the Company’s in-house legal officersUndertake periodic real estate valuations in conjunction with appointed Valuers for accounting and other requirementsMonitor and ensure that all transactions are done compliantly to Company’s internal processes.Bachelors in Land Economics / Real Estate or applicable degree, with minimum 5 years of experience in corporate real estate portfolio management, including experience with transaction strategy, site selections, lease negotiations, marketing and property acquisitions / dispositions within KenyaRegistered Estate AgentKnowledge of real estate market and investment valuation methodologiesAbility to work independently and within a teamDNA 1607
