For Kenya to achieve Vision 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and be more globally competitive, there is an urgent need to develop a skilled, productive and flexible labour force by creating, applying, and spreading new ideas and technologies that are currently missing in the country. Mama Ngina University College (MNUC) is envisioned to bridge the current gaps in the universities by offering programs that are currently needed to contribute to the fast development of the country and adopt teaching and learning methods that are student-centred. The University College emphasises hands-on training for skills development and academic excellence. Mama Ngina University College is a constituent college of Kenyatta University but was initially under the mentorship of Moi University.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (KCSE) mean grade D+ or recognized equivalent qualification.
- Government Trade test III in electrical works or equivalent from an accredited Technical Training Institution.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant working experience.
- Knowledge of relevant professional standards.
- Understand the Regulations that apply to installations, repairs and maintenance of electrical systems and appliances in Kenya.
