Job Description





Our client a Printing Manufacturing Industry is looking for a HR manager


The HR Manager – will be responsible for all aspects of the human resources function in line with the company goals and plans.



Long term objective of the function: To provide oversight and implementation of all aspects of the HR strategy in alignment with the company growth strategy



Short Term objective: To provide oversight and lead implementation of the company’s manpower acquisition and Development Plan



Duties and Responsibilities:


Key Competencies:


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence positively and build relationships.

  • Must have a solid understanding of human resource principles and practices, employment and labor law.

  • Possess strong presence, sense of urgency and ownership.

  • Demonstrate the ability to counsel both employees and managers effectively.

  • Excellent planning, organizational, analytical and decision making skills.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or equivalent

  • 6 + years HR experience, in HR strategy recruiting and training, performance management, compensation & benefits and employee relations

  • Solid knowledge of the labor laws and practices within the EA region

Job Location: Nairobi, Kenya
