Vacancy: Business Development Manager


Our Client is a Large-Scale, 4 year old IT house that specializes in custom built monitoring and evaluation software solutions for Private and Non-Government organizations.  


With a strong arm in reports and business analytics.



Our solutions help organizations fast track manual processes and view results and reports in real time to make valuable business and management decisions.
We are looking for a self-motivated, highly ambitious and well-networked individual to head the Business Development Role.


This position allows for tremendous growth and achievements as the Group embarks on a journey to expand to the global market.Strategic planning is a key part of this job description, since it is the business manager’s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming in to the company.


 


This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company’s competitors.Job Description


The Business Development Manager’s role will be to;


  • Improve the company’s market position and achieve financial growth by generating new business.

  • Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling and generating interest from potential clients.

  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.

  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging you network.

  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client’s organization.

  • Research and build relationships with new clients.

  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.

  • Plan approaches and pitches. * Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.

  • Client Retention.

  • Upsell to existing clients

  • Work with long-term organizational strategic goals in mind, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities and close business deals.

Key Requirements


  • A bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of sales and Business development experience.

  • Able to maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions & competitors.

  • Good networking skills.

  • Existing network in the Banking, ICT and/or Social sector.

  • Sales & BDM will work with the technical staff to develop demos and final products.

  • You must be able to develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship.

  • To achieve this, you need to find potential new customers, present to them, ultimately convert them into clients, and continue to grow business in the future.
