Our Client, a Horticulture Farm seeks to recruit an Agronomist Supervisor. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the developing and testing of appropriate planting techniques for growing of Vegetables and Fruit crops.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Ensuring Product development and registration of agrochemicals, crop protection, chemicals and fertilizers.Establishing products sources and maintaining relationships with existing and other potential suppliers for agrochemicals and fertilizers.Ensuring regulatory compliance by completing the appropriate filings and documentation pertaining to product registration.Compiling of Registration data for submission to the registration authorities.Establishing and maintaining close relationships with appropriate regulatory agencies for the purpose of effective negotiations of registration requirements.Maintaining quality standards for all our agrochemicals and fertilizers.Supplying products for testing and compliance requirements for new or label extension products to the researchers doing field trials.Maintaining a database to track all registration activity by creating and managing electronic and manual files, registration certificates and documentations.Liaising with researchers appointed for specific field trials.Maintaining a solid working knowledge of Regulatory Affairs issues, including changes in guidelines, interpretations or procedures within the regulatory authorities. Maintaining quality standards for all our agrochemicals and fertilizers.Offering training and demonstrations to sales staff and potential clients by showing them the benefits and usage of company products.Skills and Qualification RequiredBachelor of Degree/Diploma in Agriculture or related fieldMore than 3 years in Supervising growing of Vegetables and Fruit crops.Knowledge in Fertilizers (both field and technical grade), Agro-chemicals, Greenhouse growing, and Hydroponics etc will be essential.Experience in agrochemicals or crop protection field preferably in a technical role.
