Job Title: Learning and Development Manager – Kenya Mission
Length of contract: 1 Year (renewable)
Main Tasks: The Learning and Development Manager role is to ensure end to end staff learning and development activities with the objective of optimizing the competencies, performance and motivation of staff that will in turn lead to improved quality of operations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Ensure that all learning and development activities are carried out within the MSFCH HR strategy.Implement MSF rules and tools related to job performance evaluationsProvide training and support to all supervisors on perfomrnace evaluations.Identify and encourage staff career planing and growth Ensure proper implemtation of the MSF Training policyFollow up annual training plan based on training needs analysisPrepare monthly and adhoc reports on areas of responsibilities.Degree in Business Administration or Higher Diploma in Human Resources ManagementAt least 2 years’ relevant experience working for an International NGO in a similar position1 year MSF experience will be of added valueExperience in design and delivery of various training solutionsMature, open-minded person with good organisation, negotiation, problem solving skillsFluent in English, good communication skills, negotiating and organisational skills.Humanitarian spirit, flexible and able to work in a demanding and challenging work environment, able to work to strict deadlines and under pressure.Due to the nature of work, Kenyan nationals with ability to speak Somali are encouraged to apply
