Ophthalmic Nurse
Overall Responsibility: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality nursing services including performing necessary procedures at the Eye Care Centre.
Key Responsibilities
Provide effective nursing care to all patients and be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individual programmes of care.Perform primary nurse led ophthalmology clinics within agreed protocols.Participate actively in Continous Nursing Education / Continous Medical Education as well as audits.Receive and hand over patients by preparing accurate, detailed and timely reports.Diploma in KRCHN or above.Ophthalmic Nurse training from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.At least two years working experience in a busy health facility, preferably in an Eye Care unit.Valid Kenyan nursing practice licence.BLS training.Computer literacy.Excellent PR and Communication skills.Applications including detailed curriculum vitae, names and contacts of three referees, current and expected salary details should be forwarded by 16th September, 2014 to:The Human Resource Manager
