Reputable Company Job Vacancy in Kenya : Front Office Manager

Our Client is a 5 Star Establishment currently looking for a Front Office Manager

The main responsibilities of the selected candidate will be to :

Manage day-to-day operations of the front office department which include, frontdesk, concierge, guest relations, executive club and PABX.Ensure all staff are properly trained on all systems, standards and procedures to effectively carry out their job functionsEnsure guests receive prompt, professional attention and personal recognitionEnsure total guest satisfaction in accordance with Brand StandardsRegularly conduct routine inspections of the front office and public areas to ensure the appearance of such areas reflects highly on the hotel, brand and CompanyAnalyse guest satisfaction data and develop and implement plans to achieve established goals related to guest satisfaction scores, front desk activities, etcAchieve budgeted revenues, control labour costs and expenses, and maximize profitability within all areas of the front officeEstablish, implement, and maintain training and procedures for PABX to serve as a central communications point during emergency/crisis situationsPromote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departmentsServe as “manager on duty” as required including weekends, nights and public holiday

Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will:

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management / Business AdministrationHave a minimum of 3 years experience in Front Office / Guest Service management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceMust speak fluent English. Other languages will be considered an assetPossess excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenHave a proven track record in managing, leading and developing a teamDemonstrate ability to interact with guests, employees and third partiesPossess excellent problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organisational and training skillsBe discrete and confidentialBe able to work in a dynamic environmentBe self-motivated, able to work under pressure and adhere to deadlinesPortray a professional image commensurate with the values of the Company
